According to Google Analytics, These Are the Least Popular Times to Grocery Shop

Grocery shopping is a risk for a lot of people these days, especially those who are immunocompromised or live with people who are. Being in crowded spaces is a stressful task, but thanks to Google analytics, there is now an option to track when the least and most crowded times at grocery stores are. This saves people a lot of stress during the unknowns of the pandemic.

Most stores tend to be the busiest on weekends between 1:00 and 3:00 pm, but the least crowded on a Monday at 8:00 am. Restaurants also tend to be the busiest on Fridays at 6:00 pm and the least busy on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm. For whatever reason, Tuesday seems to be the day that most any business is especially slow, so maybe make a point to run all your errands at the beginning of the week.

Takeout has increased 306% since the start of the pandemic, with people preferring to do grocery or restaurant delivery instead of going to the stores themselves. While it takes away the risk of being in a public space, you're still relying on another person to prepare or pick out your food. So there are highs and lows to both options. Either way, shop safe and shop smart as the pandemic continues to spike.
