Amy Duggar In a Good Place With Estranged Duggar Family

"I think we are all just trying to find our path, and we're all just doing things differently," said Amy. Her mother Deanna is the sister of Jim Bob Duggar of the famed (and defamed) TLC show "19 Kids and Counting."

"I'm doing things differently and I'm happy where I'm at. I'm happy for them," she added. "Things are definitely different, but I'm happy for everybody."

Though she keeps her distance, Amy is still in contact with her cousin Jill (Duggar) Dillard, who used to be featured on "Counting On."

"Jill and I text, not on a daily basis, but we text quite often," she said. "And we discuss things."

Amy also has a relationship with Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, who recently revealed that her 3-year-old son Henry has speech delays. Amy said, "I hope all the best for him and that he and the family are fine."

In 2016, Amy opened up about having earned a "rebel" reputation among her conservative family. "That isn't necessarily what I want to be known as. What makes me a rebel?" Amy said at the time. "I love the Lord and I love my family. I'm just not born to live exactly the way they do. Growing up was all about shorts, tank tops, country songs and boyfriends, all things [my] extended family steered clear of."
