Celebrities Who Don't Realize They're Not Famous Anymore

Believe it or not, it's difficult for celebs to keep up with the trends and keep their name in the spotlight. A lot of the time, people who were the talk of the tabloids 10 years ago don't even have a career anymore. So, which celebs bit the dust?

Mike 'The Situation'

Jersey Shore was... a time... in everyone's lives. He rose to fame through the reality TV show via his bizarre antics. He was definitely one of the more controversial cast members, even though they were all a bit wild.

Party's Over

Fast forward to 10 years later, Mike has grown out of his party days and gotten married. He's still trying to stay relevant on TV, but it's not really working for him at this point. He did go to jail for tax evasion, though, so that put him in the headlines.

Orlando Brown

Formerly known as Eddie from That's So Raven, Orlando Brown truly has no career. He was a popular personality on the Disney Channel, but, like many of his castmates, felt the need to break free from that image.

His Own Worst Enemy

Sadly, his career flopped after the show wrapped filming. He developed a substance abuse issue, had multiple run-ins with police, had several DUIs, and even had battery cases against him. Sadly, he's the one standing in his way of having a decent career.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

These two peaked during their time on The Hills. Somehow, they're still together. Since the show, both of them realized that reality TV is their only talent, so they went on tons of others, including Celebrity Big Brother and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Fame Junkies

They truly don't know where to stop. They tried books, TV shows, blogs... Anything that keeps them relevant, they've done. At this point, they spend most of their time recounting The Hills.

Paris Hilton

Socialite Paris Hilton does not make the headlines like she used to. She was famous for having a rich dad, a party-hard attitude, and little disregard for the people around her. People loved seeing and judging her lifestyle which was rare to come by in the early 2000s. Now, everyone's doing what she did.

Toning It Down

She's still the same Paris, but with less of a shock factor. She's created empires in her name and even has somewhat of a DJ career. Basically, her worshipers are the only ones to really care what she's up to.

Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks is everyone's favorite person to hate. She had a rapping career that was actually pretty successful until she started fighting people on Twitter. At first, it was funny. Then, she started to play dirty and lost her fanbase completely.

Twitter Wars

She really did lose her career. She's been arrested for violent behavior, banned from Twitter for harassment, and lost all of her endorsements. No one in their right mind would work with someone who had real, personal beef with Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, Zayn Malik, Russell Crow, Elon Musk... etc, etc.

Nicole Scherzinger

Once a Pussycat Doll, always a Pussycat Doll, right? Apparently, that's what Nicole Scherzinger thinks. The girl group broke up in 2010. She tried her best at a solo career but it didn't quite work the way she wanted it to.

Missing the X-Factor

After realizing that solo work was not her gig, she decided to become the next reality TV star. She won the 10th season of Dancing with the Stars and joined the X-Factor as a host. She ended up getting fired in 2017 and then releasing two flop albums.

50 Cent

We love 50 Cent, don't get it twisted. He's just not as in the spotlight as he used to be, which seems to be fine by him. He was one of the most famous rappers of all time at some point, and then be became a successful entrepreneur by founding multiple companies.

Bankruptcy

Sadly, 50 Cent went bankrupt and ended up oweing $32 million. He's tried to act, but that didn't work. He's tried to get back into rapping, but it seems that he lost his touch.

Snooki

Snooki is another controversial cast member from Jersey Shore. She was by far the most unhinged of them all, which made for great TV. She was easily the most talked about cast member.

Past Her Prime

Now, she's a mother of three and married to one of the people she was dating while on the show. She and Jwoww had their own reality show together and even competed in Wrestlemania XXVII. At this point in time, she's not famous but just a "known name."

Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow was one of the most popular names in the NFL at some point. He was with the Florida Gators for a few years before leaving the league.

League Jumping

He was offered contracts for other teams but not as a quarterback. Since he wasn't going to get his way, he decided to infiltrate the MLB as an outfielder with the New York Mets.

Cassie

Cassie was P. Diddy's protege. Obviously, that meant absolutely nothing. Her singing career flopped and so did her acting career. Don't worry, she's still trying to be in the tabloids.

Desperate to Hang On

At this point, she's trying to be an "influencer" on social media. Her acting career is no more and she can never return to singing. Modeling might as well be the way to go.

Kendrick Perkins

Kendrick Perkins used to be a notable tough guy in the NBA. He was an intimidating defender who wasn't afraid to overtake his fellow teammates. When looking at his stats, he was less than stellar. If anything, he was a bully on the court.

Enjoying the Show

Nowadays, Perkins is battling it out on TV and Twitter as a basketball conversationalist. He's as confrontational as he was on the court. He states opinions as facts and changes his stance on situations left and right. Fans of basketball are never fans of Perkins.

Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant was known as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL at his peak. He was also known for causing a lot of rifts between himself and the Cowboys. Due to all of the drama, he was released from their contract after 8 seasons.

A Difficult Ego

Naturally, no one wanted to work with someone as difficult as Dez Bryant, so it was hard for him to find another team. He also suffered from a difficult injury which affected his playing. He is now a loud voice on Twitter in the football world, even though no one asked.

Lea Michele

Lea Michele had her time on Glee and that was basically it. Ever since her castmates outed her for her bratty behavior, fans haven't been interested in the has-been musical star.

Ms. Not-So-Nice

Michele even had a stint on Scream Queens, which was semi-popular. Yet, she was outshined by her castmates and most people don't even remember that she was on the show. When you have unremarkable performances and a bad attitude off-camera, people are going to stop giving you the time of day.

Owen Wilson

Where has Owen Wilson been? He had some great blockbuster films back in the day... Has he still been acting? Unfortunately, the answer to that is yes.

Disappearing Act

Wilson has been acting in recent films, but they're not good enough to get any attention. Sadly, it seems like his acting days are over. He does some producing, so maybe he should stick to that.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora came into the spotlight feet first and lept out just as fast. She was super popular in Europe and had some pull in the States. It seems like she's struggling to stay relevant.

Hanging On by a Thread

At this point in time, she hasn't had any recent or relevant chart-toppers. She had judging stints on X Factor and America's Next Top Model, but those weren't notable... In fact, if you have to judge a competition show because your music or acting career isn't doing so hot, that's a sure sign that you need to find your next adventure.

Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea is one of the most controversial rappers in her scene. A lot of people didn't appreciate her trying to appropriate Black culture, while others hated her attitude towards her competition.

Iggy vs Nicki

Iggy stepped on the wrong person when she started a fight with Nicki Minaj. Minaj, who has since retired from music (which is the right thing to do before you go stale!) was on top of the world in the early 2010s when Iggy kept Tweeting and saying rude things about the rapper. Obviously, Minaj's fans and Iggy were already off on the wrong foot.

Tyga

Tyga had a hit song or two in the rap world, but he really peaked when he started dating Kylie Jenner. The controversy around the couple was juicy enough to keep his music career alive. Think about it... when was the last time you heard about him? Their breakup?

Post-Kylie

Let's be real: he's released music but hasn't gotten any cred since his break-up with the young billionaire. Jenner has since moved on and had a baby with fellow rapper Travis Scott, who already had a decent enough career. Tyga probably won't stop rapping, no matter how unpopular he gets.

Tara Reid

Tara Reid used to be America's sweetheart. Everyone loved her in American Pie, but she quickly lost her cred when her partying got out of control. Many people wonder happened to her...

Taking on Minor Roles

At this point, Reid has been taking on minor acting roles. Most notably, she starred in Sharknado. It's a cult classic film that's so ridiculous it only makes sense that Tara Reid is the star.

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan was one of the biggest celebrities back in the 80s. He was known for his WWE character who was totally outrageous and wacky. At some point, he meshed his character with his true personality...

WWE Star

Hulk Hogan in the ring became Hulk Hogan in real life. For millennials, he was better known for his reality show Hogan Knows Best. Even though that show is long gone, he's still trying to stay relevant. It's over, Hulk, you can stop now.

Yasiel Puig

Yasiel Puig was in line to be MVP multiple times, but his attitude got in the way. He was such a troublemaker that he gained that reputation, which made it hard for him to find work. He's not with the Browns anymore but has declined multiple contracts for other teams.

Not Enough

He declined all of the contract offers because he thought that they were "too low" when they weren't. This guy needs an attitude check, no one likes a bad vibe!

Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin's career ended over 10 years ago. He was a great player in the NBA and had one of the best feel-good stories with the Linsanity in Madison Square Garden, but he's lost his touch. Apparently, that doesn't sit right with the guy.

Sore Loser

Even though he's basically aged out of the NBA, he still has the audacity to call it a "personal" attack that he hasn't gotten onto any other teams. Is it a lack of opportunities, or are you just not the guy anymore?

Tila Tequila

Tila Tequila somehow made a name for herself by partying with the right people. She was a MySpace royal before starring in A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila on MTV. Her fall from grace (or whatever you want to call it) has been ugly.

She's Gone off the Deep End

She ended up having kids and finding God. That would be pretty normal, except she's completely off her rocker. She is racist and anti-Semitic and believes that she can strike down her enemies with lightning. Tila only streams bizarre rants and is off most social media.

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown was a popular name in the NFL. He's known as one of the best wide receivers who ever graced the league. At one point, he was in the running for a Hall of Fame career, but his behavior changed that...

Going Downhill

The Oakland Raiders told him to scram and it all went downhill. He was involved in a sexual assault scandal and then involved with an assault and robbery of a delivery driver. With that sort of record, he'll never head back into the NFL. He's active on social media spewing hate-filled messages.

Aaron Carter

Aaron Carter was everyone's favorite mini pop star. He peaked at the age of 9, and it was a slippery slope from there. He always struggled with his fame, whether it was desiring more and needing less.

Aaron Now

He's tried to weasle his way back into the music industry, but it didn't really work out. He's been slapped with tons of DUIs and substance violations. He's also been in and out of rehab.

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Hegil started her career as a child model. Soon, she stepped into acting. At first, it was all going well. She was booking roles pretty regularly, but the fame got to her head.

Bad Off-Camera Attitude

She was popular in Grey's Anatomy but even her co-stars would call her out on her behavior. It was hard for her to find any other jobs due to her repretation in the industry.

Shia LaBeouf

Even Stevens was a fantastic Disney show that every kid loved. Shia LaBeouf was the main star, but that wasn't his only gig. An entire generation of kids grew up with him. He was poised to be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood... That is, until he realized where his road was going.

Not Famous

Unlike the other celebs in this list, LaBeouf does not want to be famous. His father forced him into acting for money, and everything else went from there. He tried his best to act as erratic as possible to get people off of his tail, and it eventually worked.

Jonathan Cheban

The only reason this guy is famous is because of who he hangs out with. Nowadays, that isn't going to cut it. Sure, he's developed some endeavors with the help of his rich and famous friends, but what's left of him when you take that away?

Blogger by Nature

He has to spend his time doing something, so he picked up blogging. He blogs about food, and that's it. He's always on red carpets alongside his rich friends, but nothing else is striking about him.

Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff was the "it-girl" of her generation. She was a Disney Star, blockbuster movie actress, and hit popstar. Seems like it was a lot for a girl so young...

Life Calmed Down

Since her Disney days, she's calmed down a bit. She got married, had kids, got divorced, and starred in mediocre shows along the way. She fits the "influencer" role better.

Drake Bell

Unlike his counterpart Josh Peck, who found more fame on Vine and Youtube, Drake Bell hasn't done anything with his career. After his stint on Drake and Josh, he basically had nothing left of a career.

Allegations

Bell was back in the tabloids after it came out that Josh Peck didn't invite him to his wedding. Well, it was probably for good reason. Bell seems to have quite the temper on him. A video surfaced of him stopping a show because a kid threw something at him. There are also allegations of him acting gross with young girls. Yuck.

Bow Wow

Bow Wow, formerly known as Lil Bow Wow, has only been trending downward in his career. He is no longer the cute kid that he was and is now kind of a horrifying human being.

He's Fake

For starters,  people have been calling him out on lies for years. He posts faked photos to pretend that he's being mobbed by crowds of fans and that he's traveling on lux private jets. It's passed your time, Bow Wow.

Christina Milian

Christina Milian is another one of those one-hit-wonders that you love to remember. She released an album in 2006 and that was basically the peak of her career...

Living Lowkey

She hasn't released music or landed an acting job sincec the 00s. She had a reality show that was canceled pretty quickly, and people completely forget that she was even a judge on The Voice for a season. Yikes!

Aubrey O'Day

Danity Kane was an okay band for their era, but Aubrey O'Day still chooses to live in that mediocre shadow. She's had absolutely no luck in any other endeavors and has been kicked to the curb of every band she tried to get with.

Reality Show Flop

After getting kicked from Danity Kane and everything else she tried to get in on, she went to reality TV. She was on Marriage Bootcamp, Ex on the Beach, and All About Aubrey. Needless to say, she was never a favorite.
