Living in the middle of nowhere, Kentucky seems like it would get pretty boring very fast. Unfortunately for this Redditor, that was not the case.
User Phyloseum posted to r/Paranormal looking for help. He recounted his story of a bizarre humanoid hiding in the fields behind his house.
For context, he lives in the middle of nowhere with a total of six other neighbors. His home backs up to a farmers house where seasonal crops are grown.
According to Phyloseum, his neighbors are a bit strange. None of them leave their houses after dark. Even though animals are common on farms, the only animals around here are his neighbors four hound dogs who sometimes go crazy in the middle of the night.
One night, he was outside with his friends when they heard a rustling noise within the crops. They didn’t think anything of it until whatever was in there let out a blood-curdling scream.
When he told his mother what happened, she told him she had a similar experience. Their yard is fenced in with a five-foot-tall gate. One night, she was outside on the porch and heard something crawling over the gate in the dark. With fear pumping through her veins, she ran back inside.
The Redditor even came face to face with the creature one night. He accidentally stumbled upon it when he was investigating weird noises. He claimed it was a bipedal humanoid with red eyes.
Unsure of what else to do, he decided that he was going to invest in a trail cam and spotlights.
Weirdly enough, he found out that the land that his small neighborhood was on used to be owned by the government. When he tried to see what the land was used for, the reason was only stated as “unavailable.”
They do live about 30 miles away from Fort Knox, but he isn’t sure if any of that is tied to the mysterious sightings.
When he was making a video trying to explain some of the occurrences, he noticed a bizarre light that he couldn’t see with his own eyes.
