The director of the ever-popular Hereditary is back with another eerie film.
Midsommar follows a young woman, Dani, with a lame-seeming boyfriend named Christian. Christian decides that he wants to go to a summer retreat in Sweden and has Dani come with. Fast forward a bit in time, and Dani finds herself stuck in Sweden at a midsummer festival with his unfriendly group of friends.
Things take a turn when Dani gets a nagging feeling that something bad is in the air. Her senses were right, and she finds herself in the middle of a horrific cult.
