Remember that time Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner dated? Well, Ellen does, and when Harry sat down on her talk show to talk about his new album, "Fine Line," she of course probed about the seemingly reblossoming friendship between the pair.
"We've been friends for a while now, yeah," Harry said when Ellen asked about Kendall. "Several years."
When Ellen asked Harry if the album discusses any breakups, i.e. Kendall, he quickly shifted the conversation elsewhere.
"I think if you want your songs to be honest and connect with people, it's usually from writing honestly," Harry explained.
"It's definitely about what I was going through at the time — and that's good and bad," he went on. "I think this album, while I was making it, the times when I was sad were some of the saddest times of my life, but then at the same time, the times when I was happy were some of the best times I've had in my life. So it's both."
"It's a fine line!" he joked.
