Have you ever wondered: "Hmmm... Who's the most famous person from my home state?" Well, wonder no more.

We figured out the most famous person from every state in America, and some of the results might shock you...

Iowa: Ashton Kutcher

Kutcher has always been in the spotlight because of his good looks, lovable nature, and positive attitude. He was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Not very many people end up leaving Cedar Rapids, because not that many people live in Cedar Rapids, to begin with.

A Face for Television

Kutcher's mother worked at Proctor & Gamble, and his father worked in a factory. His family was not particularly well off, but Kutcher ended up providing for them when he was picked up by a modeling agency when he turned 18. He won the Fresh Faces of Iowa modeling competition, and that eventually catapulted him into his acting career.

Arizona: Emma Stone

Arizona seems to be a hot spot for celebrities. While many have come before her, and some after, Emma Stone might just be the most famous person to pop-up from the hottest state in America.

The Beginning to the End

Stone grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and lived there for the majority of her early career. She instantly popped off when she moved to Los Angeles, but she still comes back to Arizona from time to time. She isn't the only celebrity that came from the Grand Canyon State. Hailey Bieber and Jordin Sparks are two other transplants.

Illinois: Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford, more known as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, grew up in Chicago. He went to high school in the windy city and then decided to move to Wisconsin to further his education. You probably think he studied acting, right? Wrong! He studied English and philosophy.

A Jack of All Trades

Believe it or not, before Ford became an actor, he was actually a carpenter. Well, he was taking small roles in between working as a carpenter, but that's the job that paid the bills. That is until he got hired to be Han Solo. Ford is quite possibly the most famous person to come out of Illinois, but he's contending with Betty White and Walt Disney.

California: Meghan Markle

Markle wasn't always the "royalty" type. In fact, she lived an extremely down-to-earth life before she met Prince Harry. She grew up in Los Angeles, studied at Northwestern University, and she took tiny roles in TV shows and movies before she met her royal husband.

Off to the Races

It wasn't until Markle got a role on Suits that she started getting noticed a bit more. Fortunately for her, Prince Harry took notice of who she was. After that, she became a royal celebrity. Obviously there are a ton more famous people to come out of California, but on the world scale, Markle is the most famous by a long shot.

Conneticut: Seth MacFarlane

You might recognize the name Seth MacFarlane from the intro-credits on his hit TV shows Family Guy and American Dad. MacFarlane was born and raised in Kent Connecticut. He attended a private school that his parents both worked for his entire childhood.

Back to the Big Island

Mamoa went to Colorado State University, and then he moved back to Hawaii to live with his father. He putzed around for about six months working odd jobs until he was spotted by a modeling agency. He was immediately offered a contract and his career exploded outward from there,

Florida: Ariana Grande

Grande is from Boca Raton, Florida. She grew up performing at the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater until she eventually landed a deal with the Disney Channel. She's arguably the most popular pop-star in the world right now, so she definitely did something right to get here.

Headed Out West

Grande left Boca Raton when she was just 13 years old. When she moved to Los Angeles, her career started taking off pretty much immediately. All of the opportunities that she pursued over the years helped her plot a perfect path to get to where she is now.

Georgia: Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts grew up in the Hollywood of the southeast before that was even established. Her parents co-founded the Atlanta Actors and Writers Workshop, which inspired Roberts and many other prolific individuals to get involved with the industry.

From the Big Peach to the Big Apple

Roberts stuck around Atlanta for the beginning portions of her career, but she eventually took off for New York City to chase her dreams of being on the big screen. Roberts dreamed of being a veterinarian from a young age, but an opportunity to move to New York presented itself, she took the leap. Roberts's brother and sister were already living there, they put her up and helped her get her first role as an extra in "Blood Red," from there, her career took off.

The Centennial State

Colorado has a special place in Tim Allen's heart because that is where he forged the majority of his childhood memories about his father. Later in his life, he learned to re-orient these feelings of longing and sorrow and focus on how beautiful these memories truly were. Tim Allen is by far the most famous person from Colorado, but Zachery Ty Brya, M. Scott Carpenter, and Lon Chaney are close contenders.

Alabama: Channing Tatum

Tatum was born on April 26th, 1980 in Cullman, Alabama. He lived in Cullman until he was six years old, and then his family moved him to Mississippi. Despite the fact that he spent the majority of his young life in Mississippi, he proudly wears the Alabama badge when discussing his upbringing.

Roll Tide

It's a Simple Life

Jewel remembers her childhood as a magical experience in some of the most beautiful nature one could ever see. She remembers riding horses, fishing, and picking berries with her brothers and sisters.
