Insanely Modded Limousines That Are Barely Street Legal

There are very few things out there that you can't do with a car, that's why they're so fun to trick out! Cars can be modded in the weirdest ways. Bigger tires, taller lifts, even hydraulics to make your car bump to the beat of your music. The people in this gallery took car mods a bit further and tricked out their whips to make their own personal limousines. You know what they say, where there's a will there's a...limosine.

Triple DeLorean

Does having three butterfly wings mean that you will travel through time three times faster? This genius made the DeLorean a six-passenger vehicle! Now, the entire family can go back to the future. That would make a pretty fun vacation. If big businesses were able to capitalize on a DeLorean you know that this would be a real thing.

Spick and Span

This barely looks like it's custom. The chrome detailing is a nice touch, too. This person definitely took the time to make this bizarre monster creation and turn it into, well, art. The tricked out rims really add to the class of the build. The best part is that it looks like someone is advertising their business on the window... That's good advertising!

Limo Coup

The idea of this is cool enough but the actual execution makes no sense. Why would anyone convert a coup into a limo but keep the coup details? Having only two doors and no extra windows seems a bit unsafe and inconvenient. I'd steer clear of this on the highway!

Best of Both Worlds

Someone must have needed a lot of storage in their car. They've got an entire full-sized truck bed attached to an old, rotting minivan. I find it a bit hard to believe that this thing is street legal, it looks like it's going to fall apart at any second. This isn't the limo for literally anybody.

It's a Bit Rough Looking, But It Works

Yet another convertible that was subjected to the limo lifestyle... This time, it's extra-long and it has a spoiler, for some reason. It literally looks like they just hand-molded the thing with how wrinkly the siding is! If you take a turn too fast on this thing it'll probably break in half.

Interesting Design Ideas

"Defiant" is a pretty good name for this creation. It looks like it was made out of three vans and possibly some extra pieces. The paint job was also a choice, mixing white and blue and gray and a different type of white. Everyone standing in the background doesn't look too impressed, which is fair.

A Car Made Of Its Own Enemies

Every time this car beats another one in a fight, it takes a part of it as a reward. Now, it's the deadliest car on the streets! Jokes aside, that could actually be true... This car is 7,500 pounds and is entirely made of scrap metal. It's technically a limo, but it's probably not one that you'd want to climb into!

A Street Legal Airplane

Somehow, somewhere, this exists. It's for sale for a whopping $1 million, or it can be rented out for $100,000 a month. This horrifying limo-monster can fit 50 of your favorite friends and family members with a luxury(ish) interior. The seats are real leather and pretty comfy, but the road might be bumpy!

Double the Trouble

This guy is probably the only person in the world who would want two minivans. He was either really into this look, or this particular type of minivan had a decent enough frame to create a limo-van monster. One thing that this van probably has is a ton of space... You could even put a queen bed in there if you really wanted to! Maybe this is the ideal camper?

Scary Hybrid

No one could expect what a Subaru and a Ford smashed together would look like... Well, this is one of the options. It's also featuring a random door that the creator probably found at a junkyard. This thing could probably use a paint job, it might have made it a bit less horrible to look at.

It's Bearable

This one isn't so bad! The Volkswagen Rabbit had its time back in the day, and this person decided to revive it in a pretty bizarre way. Most people are used to seeing a two-door Rabbit, not a four-door one and certainly not a limousine! Looks like they spliced a couple of Rabbit's up to create this limo-Rabbit. It might not be pretty, but it is kind of cool!

Is This a Transformer?

There are about eight cars compiled here. The real question is: can this thing actually drive? Or is it just a glorified sculpture? It's probably safe to say that this car-centipede isn't street legal. Going over one small bump on this thing could bring the whole thing down. Adding more axels and wheels could work, but no one wants to do that, apparently.

Needs Some Love

In terms of welding capabilities and and construction, this looks pretty good! In terms of everything else, not so much. This is that project that your uncle has in his backyard that slowly but surely turns into a nightmare. Can you drive it? No. Will is fall apart the second the engine turns on? Probably. At least it makes a good story!

Taking Car Modification To The Next Level

This contraption is a bit different than the others... It's an actual limo, but it's decked out with monster truck tires. The flames make it go faster, obviously. The funniest part is that the limo is at a gas station... How could someone reach a gas pump up there? Getting into this car must be a challenge, too.

Limo Dune Buggy

At first glance, this build looks like a normal dune buggy. Then, you realize that dune buggies only have two doors if they even have doors. This person decked out a Volkswagen Beetle with dune buggy shocks and tires to bring it to the beach. Honestly, Volkswagen should hop on this. This looks 100 times cooler than a Jeep!

Ruining a Classic

Even though this is a cool look, most classic car guys would cringe at the sight and maybe even throw some punches. Modding out a classic such as a '60s Ford Mustang is dangerous. To car modders, this is pretty sick! It's also pretty well done, especially with the suicide doors that swing out in the back. Someone might want to reinforce the middle, though... Looks a bit saggy and unsafe...

The Worst Hummer

Hummer's are probably the worst cars on the road. They're way too big, ugly, and the driver's are usually pretty aggressive! Who needs to assert themselves on the road that intensely? There are stretch-limo Hummer's out there (unfortunately) but this guy took it to an entirely new level. There is now an entirely open part of the limo where you can sit outside! Maybe there's a hot tub back there... Who knows?!

A Limo For Dirt Bikes

At least this person decided to take a classic Lincoln limo and make it into an extremely long limo with an equally long roof rack. The goal of this car is to fit as many people as possible and all of their dirtbikes. It's definitely a sight to see!

Built For Muddin'

Someone had the bright idea of marrying two vans together to create a van-limo, but also giving it off-roading tires so it can go mudding. If someone has an idea and the right tools, there's no limit to what they can accomplish and this van is proof! Honestly, it's a pretty funny and cool idea. This one is one of the better ones!

Extra-Long Convertable

This convertable doesn't look too suspcious until you really start to look at it. There's only one door, the wheels are super far apart, and it almost takes up the entire parking spot! Instead of buying a four-person convertable, this person decided to take it into their own hands and create a four-person convertable. Was it worth it?

The Hick Limo

This truck probably takes the cake for cleanest mod. This guy tricked out his truck so well that it looks like it came like that! The doors might be a bit wonky, but you have to hand it to him. The fact that it's so lifted makes it even better. Plus, what other truck has eight doors like that?

This Looks Pretty Legit

This was created by a group called Ultra Limousiners in California. Obviously, they are pretty much professionals modding out regular cars into crazy limo's. This is hardly a chop job... It looks like it came straight out of the factory. Honestly, a Beetle limo would be pretty cool.

Seamless Limo Job

This oldschool Cadillac was modded out to become a limo and it looks really classy! Luckily, the people who assembled this didn't mess it up and kept the integrity of the classic car. It's definitely one of the better ones out there... At least it's not attached to the end of a rusty pickup truck!

Bizarre Branding

So, this car was custmome made for Johnnie Walker Whiskey. Basically, they made an Audi Q7 and simply made it long. The company is using this limo has an advertisement, and customers can even rent it out for a night. Seems like a pretty good idea!

Escalade Limo

It's interesting to see which cars are chosen to be made into stretch limos. Somehow, a limo company in San Francisco decided to get this custom made for their company. This limo takes "extra" to a whole other level. Rolling up to any sort of function in this would absolutely be the talk of the night!

There's a Lot Going On Here

This car was actually artfully designed. It is a combination of a 1957 and 1959 Nash Metropolitan. Two men, Tom and Terry Blevins, decided to hunker down and create this interesting piece. The concept of a half-convertable option isn't one that took off. It's a pretty cool look, though.

Stretched Out Range Rover

Range Rover drivers love their cars, thats a given. I doubt that this thing could do very well off-roading like a Range Rover is (supposed) to do, but you never know! This thing could very well be trekking through campgrounds as we speak. This would be classified as a "glamping" vehicle.

Truck/RV/Limo Monstrosity

This truck is taking everything way too far. It's basically the size of a tiny home! The truck has a sleeper cab, space for entertaining people, and can haul an entire trailer behind it. Obviously, the environment isn't on the forefront of this guy's mind... He's single-handedly killing our atmosphere with this gigantic vehicle!

An 80s Supercar

Before it's transformation, this car was a classic 1987 Camaro Iroc-Z. Then, the owner decided to make it long. Just like every other DIY limo. The difference between this car and most of the others ones is that it was done pretty well! The integrity of the car is still there. You can almost imagine it driving around in 1980s LA.

This Is a Weird Looking Schoolbus

People who own Dodge Charger's are usually pretty proud of their purchase. They're tricked out, detailed, and always come in wild colors. This car is either a Charger aficiando's worst nightmare or dream. There's definitely one guy out ther ein the world who wants to show up to his wedding in this thing. The Charger limo was originally on eBay at an asking price of $59,000. Seems fitting enough.

This Was a Choice

The Dodge Charher limo actually has a sibling, and it's the Chevrolet Camaro limo with butterfly wing doors. Apparently, anyone can just go ahead and make their favorite car into a limo. I will admit, it does look kind of cool. The butterfly wings really make it into something different!

A Ferrari But Make It a Limo

Honestly, and this isn't mean tto be shady, but this kind of looks like a king-sized car bed and not an actual car. It seems a little counterintuitive to make a fast car this long, but to each their own! It looks like he had a good amount of money and time on his hands to pull this off, so it seems worth it.

The Thing

If you didn't know, this car was actually called "The Thing." This thing is living proof that you can pretty much turn any moving vehicle into a limousine. It would be pretty interesting to see this thing going off-roading. It looks like it'll stand up to the challenge.

Stretching The Corvette

The original limo Corvette was originally created by a limo company owner. He was able to get all the correct permits for this creation and introduce this brand new car into the world. Honestly, it looks like a futuristic limo and way cooler than any other limo out there... This guy was onto something!

Batmobile in Gotham City

Well, New York City... They're pretty much the same thing! It's not totally clear how this guy managed to create a limo-version of the Batmobile, but it had to have cost him a pretty penny. Navigating this thing through the busy streets of New York City must be difficult, but it's probably worth it from all the attention he must get.

Tricked Out Sleeper Car

This Porsche 914 somehow found its way into a race! It looks like it's pretty roomie in the back. This build would make a pretty nice Sunday driver, too. Although, I'm not sure how safe this modded out limo is... That helmet could come in handy even off the track.

Rolling Up in 60s Style

Not only is this a camper, but it's a limo! Of course. it's also a bit more than just that. It's a van-limo-tractor trailer type of situation. Apparently, it can hold almost 100 people. So, technically, it could also be a party bus! Can I rent this thing out?

Movie Car

This car was originally in the 1999 movie Mystery Men. After the movie, it fell into the hands of some car modders who wanted to make the 1979 Corvette Pace into something a bit more extravagant. Of course, that means it was made into a limousine. It looks like a supervillains car...

In The Process

This car was originally a Toyota MR2. The owner tricked it out to make it a limo but soon abandoned the project, which is totally fair. Creating a limo out of a regular car all by yourself is not an easy feat! He ended up putting it up for auction starting at $100. If you're interested, head over to New Zealand!

The Stretch Limo Only One Person Asked For

Somehow, somewhere, a stretch Viper exists. The Dodge Viper limo rolled in during a NASCAR race in Vegas (of course). A man named Oscar Goodman was grand marshal of the race and wanted to roll up in his very own Dodge Viper limo. So, they reached out to Unique Movie Cars who could make it happen.

Go Hard or Go Home

Rat roads are sweet, but a stretch limo version? Even sweeter. Every gearhead would love to get their hands on a classic car like this, but when this guy did it, he decided to get crazy with it. This rat rod can easily seat 10 people, so it's a true party car!

Aztec Stretch Limo

This limo was spotted by a car enthusiast in Ukraine. Not only is this a custom limo, but it looks like someone important might be hiding inside! Not only did they custom-make this limo but they also custom tinted the windows out to make it that much crazier. This car was originally a Pontiac Aztec which isn't even made anymore.

There's a Car Here?

Obviously, a camo joke had to be made. Getting a car wrap like this seems like a bad idea, though. If you're driving around on some backroads you're bound to get into an accident. I mean, why else would you put a camo wrap on your car? You don't want to be seen, right?

A Good Old Fashioned

This looks like the type of limo that the Queen of England would roll up in. The wooden accents on the door is a nice touch, it feels like it's straight out of the 1920s. If you're ever traveling in England, this is the way to go.

Rollin' In Style

A stretch limo Rolls Royce is the pinnacle of luxry. They better have the starry night fiber optic ceiling, too! If you had all of the money in the world, why wouldn't you go ahead and ride around in this thing? It's kind of weird that Rolls Royce hasn't capitalized on the limo asepct... It would probably do really well!

Just a Bit Weird

This used to be a simply Audi A8 until somebody decided to deck it out. There are a few more bells and whistles that were added (along with an entirely different body) and it looks pretty neat! Apparently, it weighs a good 3.5 tons. This kind of looks like a tank...

A New Type of Drag Racing

This is the world's fasted street-legal limousine. Michael Pettipas created this drag-limo for the literal purpose of it being the fastest drag limo out there. Since then, he's created a business out of it! People can rent out this bad boy for Michael to whip them around the track.

Another Ferrari Limo

A limo company had this limo specially designed using a Ferrari 360. This actually had a lot of backlash, especially from Ferrari. Apparently, they threatened to sue the limo company if it didn't remove all of the Ferrari branding on it. I guess they didn't like the idea very much...

Longest Limo Ever?

As of right now, this limo holds the record for longest car in the world. The limo has 26 wheels and is over 100 feet long. It's also eqipped with a swimming pool, bed, and, of course, a Helipad! You know, for when you need to bring your helicopter to wherever you need to go. Naturally.

Another Hummer Stretch Limo... But, It's Worse

This hummer takes it to the next level... Even the drivers door flies upwards instead of out! This limo is also equipped with intense speakers, strobe lights, VIP lounges, and a even a disico ball! This is the only way to make a statement when you pull up to prom. You literally bring the party with you!

Party In The Back

This person decided to take two Cadillacs and combine them into one. This didn't exactly make a traditional limo, but it captures the idea of a limo good enough. That paint job is pretty stellar, though. I'd ride around in this thing, wouldn't you?

Extra Limo Hybrid

I know, this isn't technically a limo, but it kind of is. This is a Harly Davidson motorcycle equipped with a rear carriage. You can easily seat eight people in this thing! The limo also has a wet bar, so you know that it's legit. Honestly, there should be more of these.

Spaceship or Car?

When this car rolls up and the butterfly doors go up, you know that you're in for a good ride. I can't imagine that this can go fast or take any sharp turns, but this is probably going to be a car best suited for a long, straight road.

Peak Craftsmanship

In true redneck fashion, you can fit people in the cab and people in the back. From the looks of it, this truck-limo is available to rent out for the night. I think that it would be pretty worth it for any occasion... It's definitely a statement! Adding the steps up to the cab is as hilarious as it is functional and smart. Driving this thing would definitely take some skill.

What's Going On Here?

This takes the cake for the most luxurious limo mod. The red rims are a pretty tacky look, but you could argue that this entire thing is tacky, too. It also seems like it would be super hard to drive around. It's like a glorified horse and carriage but instead its just like, a Dodge Charger.

Heading to War

This car holds a lot of chaotic energy. I'm not sure what the purpose is... Honestly, I think there's no purpose other than the fact that the creator had the time and money to do this. This photo was found on Craigslist listed at $6,000... Depending on how you look at it, that's either a lowball price or way too expensive.

A Top Gear Feature

This car actually made it on Top Gear and the guys had to drive it around in public. As you can tell, it's pretty much a horrible eyesore. It's unclear as to why they decided to make it stop sign red... It probably just needed to stand out. The turning radius isn't that great, either. It does look like it's doing it's best, though.

Monster Limo to the Extreme

Unsurprisingly, this monster limo is called Chaos. People can rent it out for their parties, and the owners can even spray paint it to the customer's request. I'm not really sure why someone would want this showing up to their party, but whatever works! As long as someone is making money off of this monstrosity.

An Armored Truck Except It's a Limo

Of course, there's an armored limo in this world, why wouldn't there be? This is called The Vault and it's rented out by a company called Armored Limo. Inside of the limo is a full-on dance club. It has strobe and neon lights and a ful bar. It can fit up to 30 people, so why not invite out your closest friends for a night on the town? It's safe enough!

It's a Limo, Not a Bus

The F650 is the largest truck-limo out there. It can fit 30 passengers with 362 horsepower. It's a limo and a tour bus, so you get the best of both worlds! It can also be a party limo, of course.
