New Horror Movies on Streaming Services This Month

Being stuck at home for the last few months has not been fun for anyone, but at least Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon are giving the people what they want! Here are some flicks coming to the streaming services this month.

Paranormal Activity - Netflix

Everyone's favorite found-footage film! Although there are tons of memes and jokes about this series, no one can deny how good it is. This probably isn't a good film to watch at night, by yourself, during this quarantine period... To each their own!

Poltergeist - Netflix

This classic horror is truly one of the best of the best. Even for a 1982 film, it still holds up! If you haven't seen this cult classic, it should definitely be on your list.

The Axe Murders of Villisca - Hulu

This film is based on the 1912 murders of a family in Villisca, Iowa. To this day, the case remains unsolved. Obviously, the murderer got away with it, which just makes everything creepier.

Freddy vs. Jason - Hulu

The ultimate showdown! Most critics assumed this film wouldn't be good, and they were dead wrong. This wasn't the pandering fan movie that they thought it was. Who doesn't love a campy horror film?

Panic Room - Amazon Prime

This one is rough, which is what makes it so good. Any good horror movie focuses on a real-life phobia to make the content scarier, and that's exactly what director David Fincher did. Claustrophobic? This film might not be for you.

The Eye - Amazon Prime Video

Nobody likes going to the doctor, but going to an eye specialist is even scarier. This film plays on that fear of many people with a supernatural twist. This is an American remake off of the Asian horror movie of the same name.
