Ravens-Steelers Thanksgiving Game Moved to Sunday Due to Positive COVID-19 Tests

Two Baltimore Ravens players have tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, which, unfortunately, will delay their primetime Thanksgiving game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram's positive test results forced their practice facilities to shut down immediately and more positive tests came in on Tuesday.

The game will be rescheduled for Sunday although a new time has not been announced.

The Steelers, who already had games affected by COVID-19, are not thrilled about having to miss their Thanksgiving game. Players, angry with the news, took to Twitter to express their disdain.

The game was the most anticipated matchup of the three scheduled for Thanksgiving day. The other two Thanksgiving games are the 3-7 Houston Texas vs. the 4-6 Detroit Lions and the 3-7 Washington Football Team facing the 3-7 Dallas Cowboys.

While the NFL hasn't had to move many games due to COVID-19, this postponement, in particular, has a big impact, considering how many people would have settled in to watch a marquee matchup on Thanksgiving night.
