Gentle Reminder
The wedding planner listened, aghast, as Toni coldly reminded Christine that she and her partner had been trying to have a baby for three years. “While the wedding may be your day, you knew what I was going through to get the chance to have a baby,” she said.

Christine wasn’t having any of it. She kicked Toni out of the bridal party, telling her: “Well, then, I guess you can’t be in my wedding, because I don’t want to deal with the problems your pregnancy will cause.” Toni was so affronted by her sister’s selfishness that she stood up and left. Christine was apparently so distressed by her sister’s untimely decision that she vocalized her issues on Facebook, hoping to get some reassuring feedback that she had made the right decision by forcing her pregnant sister to leave her bridal party.

“I informed her that I didn’t want any visible pregnant bridesmaids in my party and it’s my personal preference,” she wrote. “Here it is Feb and she tells me she is pregnant which means she will be eight months around my big day.”
Her Choice
The bride-to-be said she’d told her sister the former August that she planned to be marrying Tim in August of 2019. “In no way do I expect anyone to conceive due to my wedding, but I feel it’s my choice to make decisions as a result of this new scenario,” she continued. However, she didn’t get quite the response she was looking for…

When Christine’s mother finally returned, she looked like she had been crying. That’s when she revealed what the phone call was about: Toni had lost the baby.
Tears
The wedding planner didn’t know what to say. She felt tears of sympathy beginning to brim. The announcement had confirmed that Christine’s mother had been weeping “right along with her poor distraught daughter on the other end of the phone.” Christine, however, had a different reaction…one that the wedding planner would never forget.
Unbelievable
“Oh. Well, I guess she can be in my wedding, then, since she’s not pregnant anymore,” Christine said, seemingly unaffected. The room went silent.
Snapped
The wedding planner later said she had “never seen something snap behind another person’s eyes before.” Christine’s mother looked at Christine and said, in a “deadly calm voice,” that she would no longer be needing the wedding planner’s services.
Karma
“It looks like my daughter will be taking over paying for everything,” she said. “I hope this doesn’t cause your business any trouble.” Christine’s eyes widened.
Panic
The wedding planner watched as Christine leaped up from her seat, “waving her arms” and “screeching horrified questions” at her mother, who refused to answer. Christine didn’t get her “sudden and unexplained” refusal to pay for the wedding…
Retribution
The wedding planner gave Christine’s mom “a brilliant smile,” telling her she understood. “I think we can sort out the snags,” she said. Meanwhile, Christine was growing hysterical.
Falling Apart
Christine’s mother left the room, and Christine trailed behind her, shrieking and wailing. It turned out that Christine’s mother wasn’t the only one who had put up with enough of her nonsense…
Calling it Off
Twenty-four hours later, the wedding planner received a call from Tim. He told her he was calling off the whole wedding—he couldn’t imagine spending the rest of his life with such an unbearably selfish person.
