Something about this room was profoundly ominous. Nonetheless, they took the fireproof safe down from the wall. It didn’t appear to be locked. Chris and Anna glanced at one another and slowly lifted open the door…

What Chris and Anna found made a chill run down their spine. Crumpled inside the safe was a note written by hand in black ink that oozed down the page. It read: “Save Yourself.”
The Contents
By this point, Chris and Anna were terrified. What had happened in this room? The safe was also full of what appeared to be VHS tapes. With shaking hands, Anna removed six of the videotapes from the safe…
Mysterious Tapes
The tapes were labeled “194,” “1195,” “11195,” “IV,” “95,” and “V.” Neither Chris nor Anna could decipher what the numbers meant.
Terrified
The couple was scared out of their wits. They had no idea what could possibly be on the tapes, or where the briefcase full of money and valuables came from. They decided to give it a few days before they found the strength to sit down and watch them…

Into The Dark

When they returned to the basement, Chris was surprised to see another suitcase stuffed into the ceiling that he hadn’t noticed before. It weighed even more than the first one. Chris and Anna opened it up and their jaws nearly hit the floor.
More Cash
The second suitcase was lined with even more cash. There were wads and wads of dollar bills. Chris and Anna added up the total sum of their findings, which amounted to more than $45,000.
