Lion’s Mane, or Actual Lion

The insane tentacles on the Lion’s Mane Jellyfish resemble an actual lion’s mane, so the name is appropriate. However, the bell can reach a length of seven feet and the tentacles can grow up to 121 feet long.

The Amazonian Ant could have starred in the Marvel movie for sure. They can grow up to 1.2-1.6 inches long, which is huge for the little guys. They’re incredibly poisonous, but if you don’t live in the Amazon, you’re probably safe.

Panda Ant Packs a Punch

The biggest ant in the game is the Panda Ant. The ant shares a name with the bear on account of the coloring. They can be found in Chile and can kill as big as cattle with their painful sting.

Aptly Named Crab

The formerly mentioned Colossal Coconut Crab is about nine pounds and 3 feet long. Their claws are enough to destroy a coconut, hence their tropical-themed name.
