Ufo Anomaly Shows up in the Baltic Sea and Scientists Don’t Know What to Make of It

UFO sightings were extremely common around the Baltic Sea. Their sightings were confirmed when a team of deep sea divers found something unexplainable laying on the bottom of the sea… Their investigation took some wild and crazy turns in the process.

The Baltic Sea Theory

Any conspiracy theorist can say that the Baltic Sea Anomaly is one of the most unexplained conspiracies out there. The weirdest part is that even the scientists who discovered this anomaly still can’t say what it is…

Back In 2011

Deep-sea exploration team Ocean-X were doing a deep dive in the Baltic Sea back in 2011. They ended up detecting a weird formation 300 feet below the surface…

Things Started Going Wrong

As the crew got closer to the anomaly on their map, some of the equipment began to malfunction. Once they got within 200 meters of the object, the map even began to go in and out of service… How were they supposed to investigate if they couldn’t find it?

Star Wars?

All of the crew members could agree that this shape kind of looked like the Millennium Falcon. The Star Wars nerds on board were excited to find this, and the UFO nerds were even more excited! What was this thing?

Easy to Spot

It was really easy to spot this thing on the map since the bizarre object had sharp angles and very straight lines… It didn’t look like a downed plane at all.

Crash Landing?

Another thing the crew members noted was the extensive trail of debris that was also picked up on the map. Was this a crash landing of… A UFO? They couldn’t help but speculate! In the beginning stages of this find, they were just having fun… Then, things got real.

A Documentary

Peter Lindberg and Dennis Ã…sberg, the two who were in charge of the dive, decided to make a documentary as they discovered this giant 180 ft. mass.

Previous Success

Lindberg and Ã…sberg previously discovered a ship that held vintage champagne that sunk in 1907. The champagne, and other vintage items scavenged from the ship, sold for record prices at an auction.

Got the Funds

Since they had so much success from this, they were able to fully fund the next steps it took to film and finish the documentary. They needed to put a lot of time into figuring out what was in the bottom of the sea…

Their Thoughts

They weren’t sure what they were going to find. They basically narrowed it down to two things: A UFO, or an old Nazi ship. Pictured above is a sunken U-Boat that was found in the Atlantic ocean for reference.

Sonar Imaging

The sonar images themselves showed some pretty interesting distinctions of what this mass could be. They were sure that it wasn’t a natural rock formation. After another dive, they were able to get close enough without their technology failing and they saw some cool things…

Distinctive Features

Once they got close enough, they were able to point out what looked like a staircase and a rounded hole encircled by a square frame. A lot of the features seemed artificial and man-made… Or, alien-made.

Getting Samples

They were able to get close enough to get some scraps of samples of the structure in order to get tested. They were getting closer to some sort of answer…

A Professor

They sent the samples to professor Volker Brüchert, an associate professor of geology at Stockholm University. He was looking forward to being a part of the project, and possibly, history.

Shocking Results

“I was surprised, when I researched the material I found a great black stone that could be a volcanic rock,” Brüchert said. “My hypothesis is that this object, this structure was formed during the Ice Age many thousands of years ago.”

He’s Not So Sure

The two men only collected samples of something that collected on top of the mass… Therefore, it could easily just be covering the actual mass. Ocean X knew that they had to go back down and get better proof.

News Got Out

Brüchert’s findings hit the public and immediately started a fire within the media. News outlets were reporting on a “possible extraterrestrial craft” so people got a little excited…

Debunked

Soon after all of the findings got let out, the news media outlets shifted. They began saying that it was all debunked and fake. Lindberg and Ã…sberg were getting frustrated…

Unexplored Ocean’s

As most people know, less than five percent of the planet’s oceans have been explored. That means that there’s a lot that we don’t know about.

Baltic Sea in WWII

The Batlic Sea is entirely landlocked, but it was a hotspot during WWII. As a natural border between the USSR, Scandanavia, and Nazi Germany, a lot went down.

Major Naval Activity

In order to get control of the Baltic Sea, the Allied and Axis powers fought there plenty of times. They wanted control Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia.

Warfare Left Behind

Many believe that the Germans constructed underwater structures to try and scambled enemy communication systems. They needed the Baltic sea in order to protect their shipping routes, and they were very sneaky about it…

Could That Be Why?

Some believe that this is why the Ocean-X crew had their mechanics scrambled on their descent to investigate... No one can say for sure that these scramblers could still work, though… But then, a truth-bomb was dropped.

Flying Saucers?

During this time, the Germans were trying to run a clandestine program to create flying saucers. Now, the scientists are thinking this could be a cash sight of one of the Nazi Foo Fighters. That doesn’t explain the UFO sightings…

UFO Sightings

The Baltic area has had a ton of UFO sightings in the past. The most recent was in 2008, when people noticed a silver disc hovering around the Russian province of Kaliningrad.

Where Are They Now?

Since then, the two men have hit a standstill in their efforts. They haven’t had a big update since 2012, but even that was pretty incredible…

A Video

They posted a video of a dive they did back in 2012. The video is hard to see. what’s really going on since the sand is getting kicked up. There is a slight glimpse of the anomaly…

What Is That?

From the video, it looked like a very smooth rock face. Many people who have seen the video claim that the rock face is way too smooth to be a natural anomaly… But maybe it could be extraterrestrial?

More Tests

More rock sample tests said that limonite and goethite have turned up. These metals cannot occur naturally at the bottom of the Baltic.

Yonaguni Monument

Others who have studied this bizarre anomaly claim that it has similar features to the Yonaguni monument off the coast of Japan. These are ancient ruins that also have archaeologists arguing over it…

Who Knows

At the end of the day, no one knows whats going on with this bizarre anomaly. No one has any definitive answers, and it’s hard to get down there in order to figure out what’s going on… Maybe the aliens who crashed it will come looking for it soon!
