Stephen King’s novels are getting some major hype this year! It: Chapter Two dropped last week. Now that the hype has died down a bit, another King trailer has been dropped.
Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shining, has a new trailer that shows us just what Danny Torrence is up to.
This trailer shows just how distressed Danny still is from the traumatic events of his childhood. He’s still running from his demons.
This time, he’s not alone. The trailer introduces Abra Stone, a young girl who also has the shining.
Along with struggling with this PTSD, Danny and Abra are trying to defeat a group of psychic vampires who feed on people who have the shining.
The two will find themselves back at the Overbrook Hotel. Hardcore fans are stoked about that, especially because director Michael Flannigan used Stanley Kubrick’s blueprints for the first movie.
Fans will have to wait until November 8th to see what finally happens with Danny Torrence. Until then, this trailer will have to do!
