Florence Pugh Wants You To Stop Bullying Her Boyfriend

Florence Pugh loves to share her life on Instagram, but sometimes living your life online means subjecting yourself to public scrutiny. Though she's not afraid to share a goofy selfie or cooking video, she has become reluctant to share her boyfriend, Zach Braff, with the fans of her page. She and Zach share a 21 year age gap, and some people have taken to commenting to share their unfavorable opinions.

The online bullying started back when Braff commented with a queen emoji underneath Pugh's photo, which prompted comments like "you're 44 years old." Though Pugh always comes to his rescue, responding to that user "and yet he still got it!" The duo celebrated Braff's 45th birthday last week, which prompted Pugh's outcry against bullying.

"Within about eight minutes of the photo being posted," said Pugh, "I had about 70% of the comments hurling abuse, being horrid, and basically bullying someone on my page." She was clearly hurt by the influx of comments, writing "I will not allow that behavior on my page. I'm not about that. It makes me upset. It makes me sad. I'm 24 years old. I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love. It is not your place and really it has nothing to do with you."

She concluded her callout by saying that not only will she continue to post photos of Zach, but she will likely start posting even more of them. She hopes her followers can keep their composure when she posts these insights into her daily life because she won't listen otherwise.
