Following the third trailer release, critics are gearing up for this subversive genre idea; superhero horror. Imagine if Superman came to earth, but instead of fighting for justice, he was a manic and impulsive child murderer who didn’t feel empathy, just as powerful too.
Directed by David Yarovesky, known for Guardians of the Galaxy and The Hive, he has a lot riding behind him, considering he directed two of the best movies of 2014. His decision to create an evil superhero feels like a departure from his former styles of directing (hero movies, and horror movies).
