The Shining Fans Can Watch a Screening at the Overbrook Hotel

HEEEEEEEEERE’s JOHNNY!

On December 1st, 2019, there will be a screening of The Shining at the National Historic Timberline Lodge, also known as the Overlook Hotel in Mount Hood, Oregon.

This hotel hasn’t opened its doors to the general public (it’s a members-only lodge) since the years that The Shining was shot. Now is a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch one of the most widely acclaimed horror movies ever created, exactly where it matters most.

The entire town of Mount Hood will be opening their doors to celebrate The Shining, there will be drink specials at local bars, Shining themed menu items at local cafes, and a bartender named Lloyd to follow you around whenever you need a nip.

The entrance fee for this event is 70 dollars per person, which can be reserved on the Timberline Lodge’s website. Once again, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. There is a chance that these doors will never open to the public again, possibly because all the members have been driven mad.
